Pizza was delicious! Thin crust, nice sauce, and huge pies. We had the tomato and basil pie. Dough had a nice taste to it, tomatoes/basil were fresh and we enjoyed the added garlic on top. Owner was friendly and service was good. Can't wait to go for some live music. We are also excited to hear that they have moved into Harley's bowl in Camarillo. The owner explained that they are going to remodel the bar area and add a stage for live events. Stoked to have a decent place to go to in Camarillo, plus bowling!

Don't ask me WTF I was doing in Moorpark....we were running errands, I guess. The issue is that I was not excited about going to Moorpark...like at all, but Rock & Roll Pizza was the saving grace. Once my hubby told me were going there, I jumped on Yelp to see what I could find. I, like many of you....and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles enjoy a good slice of pizza, and this place has the goods. My hubby and I split a cheese pizza, which is the best way to eat a pizza...just cheese, please. It was really huge and really yummy. The crust was thin, crispy, and had the yummy brick-oven flavor that I'm always looking for when I eat pizza. The sauce, cheese, and oregano....also dope. The only thing that was really lacking was the service. No one was really keeping tabs on us. We cleaned our own table and seats outside. I had to grab our own basket of napkins and parmesan cheese and chili flakes. They weren't busy, they just weren't particularly helpful, but it's no biggie. We didn't stay long. We ate about half of it, and ate the rest later....so yummy. I spoke with the owner who is a Mets fan (but I didn't hold that against him), and he told me the get the dough from NYC, which his really impressive....and shows dedication. I really liked the spot too...it's essentially a bar with tables for food. It's pretty divey, and they have outdoor seating, so we were able to sit outside with our pup. I really like this place, and I wish it wasn't so far away because I have no idea when I'll be back.

We visited Rock & Roll pizza on a Friday evening. Our friends arrived before us around 5:45pm and were able to secure 3 tables on the patio to accommodate our large group. The weather was perfect and there was a lovely breeze which made for perfect patio dining. At the time of arrival, there was ample parking and dinner hour was just beginning. Shortly after our arrival, the parking lot quickly filled up and it became a full house. After we chose our seats, we ordered a few pitchers of 805 beer, a glass of red wine for my sister, and the Green Day Margarita for me. The drinks were refreshing and I don't drink beer but everyone else loved it! We ordered the SoHo tomato basil pie and the Brooklyn Pie. We also ordered a Caesar salad and a Chop salad which were so delicious that we didn't even need to add the extra dressing they provided. Our food took about 30 minutes to come out. The pizza was cooked to perfection and pleasantly pleasing to my tastebuds! From a newly relocated East Coaster, the pizza here definitely satisfied that East Coast pizza void I have been yearning to fill! For dessert, the kids had chocolate covered cannoli's which they absolutely loved and devoured! Our Friday evening at this family friendly establishment was a great one! The owner was present and very hands on, talking and joking with patrons. My only recommendation would be to have a place where extra utensils, paper plates, and condiments are available for guests to grab at their own convenience. Thank you Rock & Roll pizza for a great time!

This is definitely a different type of pizza place. Kinda like Hard Rock Cafe meets Pizza joint. It's in a quiet neighborhood. Pizzas are HUGE. They pass my New York Pizza Snob O Meter inspection just fine. This is the best pizza in the area by far. This place has been hiding from us for years. Thanks to Yelp for helping me find it

A reliable choice for pizza in Moorpark - I think the change in ownership has resulted in positive changes. I am glad they finally deliver as going in for pick up was challenging on weekends when bands were playing. Pizza is always great- I can't tell a difference from the previous owners- it's always been good. Crust is thin and perfectly cooked. We've had the spaghetti too which was pretty good.

Amazing pizza, great hot dogs. Excellent people, the owners is very personable, they will make your food anyway you want it. The chili dog was the best I've ever had. The hot dog with onions was also very good. I recommend this place if your looking for an amazing pizza ( the Brooklyn ). The chili dog and fries or the hot dog with onions.

Sprung up originally via West Hollywood to a couple locations in Woodland Hills and now Moorpark, Redballs is one of those hidden gems you find in LA that makes LA such a wonderful place to live. Yes, the city is vast and you need a car, but there's always something new and surprising to discover about it. Part Pizza spot, part music venue, this place seems as if it was plucked from the Sunset Strip and dropped in the middle of suburbia in Moorpark. They have a variety of Enegren craft beer on tap (located around the corner) for those that want something different. If you want your standard beers, they have that here too. A place where you might stumble across a band such as the Foo Fighters playing a surprise show on their permanent stage in the restaurant. The Foos have played at this venue twice, once recently as a warm up to their world tour. Regular live music are commonplace from any genre. This place has a punk feel with memorabilia throughout the restaurant. I would imagine this was how CBGB felt. They don't discriminate on the bands they feature on the stage here. This is not that kind of place to expect excellent service. You might get some 'tude or sarcasm, but don't take it personal. I find that part of the charm of this place. The people here are real. Go for the pizza. Maybe go for the "I don't give a f*ck" attitude from the staff. The owner is passionate about his pizza and it shows with each flavorful bite. A bit of a trek for those that live in LA proper. Might be worthwhile to make a day out of it and check out a live band. I felt as if I was transported to 6th Street in Austin or random spot in NYC... definitely didn't feel like Moorpark. One of the best New York-style slices I've had in the LA area!

Finally some good pizza in Moorpark! I first experienced this place when I was living in Woodland Hills and they were located on Topanga. When I heard they were opening up in Moorpark, not only that, but right down the street from me I couldn't wait. The most solid thin slice pizza you can get around a 25 mile radius. The place is a tad pricey, but it's worth the cost, and the service is always friendly. The punk atmosphere is just a plus. Black Flag, SST, and Minor Threat fliers on the wall only confirm you'd like this place.
